Born in Cornwall, Ontario and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, I am passionate about the people and services in our community and what we have to offer on a local, national, and international level.

 
I started my Event/Marketing Company in 1998. Some of the many events I have been involved in were: Friendship Festival, Tastes of Niagara, a wine and food culinary experience showcasing many of our local chefs, growers and wineries in our region, Manager of the Winter Festival of Lights, American Bowl in Toronto - field media coordinator with the NFL, Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills, The Wine and Food Classic held in Niagara Parks another food and wine event that showcased our local wineries and chef’s, Polo a Heart Niagara event in Niagara on the Lake, and ten years with the Niagara on the Lake Peach Celebration and the Niagara Film Festival. 
 

For the past ten years I worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Meetings Conventions and Incentive Travel market with Niagara Falls Tourism. Tourism is the heart and soul of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region. I recognize the importance of how our city and region shines as a host to millions of visitors from across Canada, the USA, and worldwide and take pride in the work that I do as an Event Marketing Consultant for the Niagara Region.

 

In addition to my work as an Event Marketing Consultant, I am a dedicated volunteer to a number of non-profit organizations that benefit the welfare of our community. I am currently a Board member and past chair of the Greater Niagara Hospital Foundation, a Board member of the Winter Festival of Lights, a past Board member of Project Share (our local food bank), and have served on the Niagara Falls Hydro Board, United Way – Poor Boy Committee, Niagara Falls Humane Society. I am also a member of Niagara Falls Rotary Sunrise Club and the Chair of the new Niagara Falls Community Health Centre on Queen Street in Niagara Falls. I also served on our Niagara Falls City Council from 2003 to 2006 and I am the past Federal Liberal candidate for the Niagara Falls Riding.

 
Of course, at the heart of everything I do is my family. I reside in Niagara Falls with my husband of the past twenty-five years, John Morocco. We have two lovely daughters, Lisa and Karlisle and a dog and a fish.
